He is a published speaker on Leadership issues, and has presented at national symposia and conferences including the National Transit Institute, the American Society for Quality, and the US Air Force, as well as conferences for the State of California and Solano County.

He is adjunct faculty at Brandman University, a part of the Chapman University System, teaching classes in the Organizational Leadership program.
